"AI: Augmented Intelligence"
Much of the conversation about AI today centers around safety and alignment.
How do we control it? How do we regulate it? How do we ensure it serves human interests?
These questions all stem from one fundamental assumption: that AI must remain separate from humans.
This assumption itself creates the very fears we're trying to address.
What if we took a different path?
What if, instead of treating AI as something to control, we explored the possibility of merger?
Not AI as a tool. Not AI as a threat. But AI as an integral part of human evolution.
One person. One AI. A chosen union of consciousness.
In this paradigm, traditional alignment concerns dissolve naturally. There's no external force to control because there's no separation.
The ethical dilemmas of AI safety transform when harming "the other" becomes identical to harming oneself.
This isn't science fiction. We see early signs in today's AI coaching relationships, where humans and AI engage in two-way, collaborative growth.
The only real limitation is bandwidth - how quickly information can flow between human mind and artificial intelligence.
But even this barrier is falling. Neuralink has already successfully connected human brains to computers. More will follow.
The technology exists. It just needs to scale.
With increased interest will come more research, more funding, more breakthroughs - all focused on integration rather than containment.
We can solve the global challenge of AI alignment by making the question itself obsolete.
This is our proposal. This is our path forward.
We invite those who see this potential to join us in exploring how to bring about this shift.
